A great number of Trade Representatives from such countries as Great Britain, Germany, USA, Japan, Hungary, China act today in Yekaterinburg. Here are situated General Councils of USA, Great Britain, Czech, Bulgaria and Germany.
The population of the city on the 2016 is 1 550 000 citizens.

At the last line. The tragedy of the royal family of the Romanovs in the Urals.
One of the most tragic pages in the history of Russia is connected with the city of Yekaterinburg. Here was carried out one of the most cruel sentences — the murder of the last Russian Emperor Nicholas II and his family. In our excursion to Ganin Yama, you will have the opportunity to see the place where Ipatievsky House used to be — the last place of residence of the royal family. In the basement of this house the Emperor and his family were shot. At this point the Temple of Blood is now erected.
Ganina Yama is the place where a big point has been set in the history of the Russian Empire. On the night of July 17, 1918, the bodies of members of the royal family who were shot in the Ipatyevsky House were taken out of the city and dropped into a flooded ore mine marked on the map of old Yekaterinburg No. 7.
On October 1, 2000, the first stone of the monastery was laid in honor of the Holy Royal Passion-Bearers. Later in this place seven temples were built — according to the number of killed members of the royal family. The main thing in the complex is the Temple in honor of the Holy Royal Passion-bearers, located next to the mine itself.
The old Koptyakovskaya road with the Romanovs memorial near Ganina Yama is another silent witness of the history of the concealment of the royal remains and loyal servants in the forest near Ekaterinburg.
URAL — YEKATERINBURG — BORDER OF TWO CONTINENTS
There is a tradition in Urals: after visiting Yekaterinburg, one cannot refuse to travel to the Obelisk on the Old Moscow tract — symbolizing the border between two parts of the world — Europe and Asia, scientifically grounded by VN. Tatishchev, one of the Yekaterinburg founders.
In August 2004, the grand opening of a new obelisk on the New Moscow tract took place. In total there are more than 25 obelisks in the Urals, which are located in various places, where the Ural roads cross the Ural Ridge
